The problem we built this for

Prospect research is the highest-leverage hour an advisor spends and the most time-consuming. An advisor at a private bank or a Registered Investment Adviser firm can spend three hours pulling together a single prospect read, only to discover that the prospect does not even meet the firm's investable-assets threshold. Generic artificial intelligence tools accelerate the work but introduce a worse failure mode: hallucinated facts that look real, with no source backing, that shape an advisor's first impression in the wrong direction.

Wealth Recon was built around a simple premise: an advisor should never walk into a meeting with bad information. Every claim we surface carries a public source Uniform Resource Locator. Every signal traces back to a verifiable record. Every estimate names its own confidence so the advisor knows where to trust it and where to push back.

Five reasons advisors pick Wealth Recon

Integrity-first

Every fact in every dossier carries a verifiable public source. The Source Manifest at the back of every dossier is a flat ledger: every claim, every Uniform Resource Locator, every verification timestamp. Compliance officers read it as proof; advisors read it as a trail they can follow.

Multi-model verification

Five independent artificial-intelligence models cross-check every dossier. Different models from different labs disagree more often than the same model checking its own work. We use that disagreement as a feature: a claim that survives Anthropic Claude Opus 4.7 drafting plus Perplexity Sonar Pro citation verification plus xAI Grok-4 adversarial review is a claim worth carrying into a meeting.

Source-anchored claims

We do not paraphrase. We cite. Every claim in the prose links to the source it came from, and every source link in the manifest opens a public Uniform Resource Locator the advisor can verify directly. If a fact has no source, it is not in the dossier.

Advisor-corrected facts

When you correct a fact in a dossier, your correction informs every future dossier on the same person across your firm. Wealth Recon learns from licensed advisors with real client context, not from web scrapers or anonymous community contributors. Your edit, with your name, with your timestamp.

Cost transparency

A dossier costs about eight dollars to produce on our hybrid quality stack. We charge fifteen dollars per dossier without a subscription, or as little as eight dollars and seventy-five cents per credit on Solo annual. We tell you the math because the math is the product.

Why not just use Claude, ChatGPT, or Perplexity directly?

A capable advisor can absolutely produce a rough first draft on a general artificial-intelligence chat tool. That is the honest starting point. The reason advisors pay for Wealth Recon is not that we make the impossible possible; it is that we turn that rough first draft into a repeatable, sourced, reviewed, exportable, refresh-aware workflow that holds up across hundreds of prospects.

A general chat tool gives you a single conversation. Wealth Recon gives you a system.

Repeatable structure. Every Wealth Recon dossier covers the same sections in the same order: identification, career, philanthropy, real estate, family signals, liquidity indicators, and trigger events. A general model writes whatever its prompt asks for. The advisor doing the prompt has to remember the structure each time.

Strict source enforcement. Every claim in a Wealth Recon dossier carries a verifiable public Uniform Resource Locator. The source manifest at the end is a flat ledger of every claim and every link. General models will happily generate confident text without sources or with hallucinated sources that look real.

Disambiguation before research. Wealth Recon runs a disambiguation pre-pass that resolves the input to a single living adult before any credit is consumed. General chat tools blend multiple people with the same name into one dossier without warning.

Multi-model review. Wealth Recon uses citation verification and adversarial review across multiple independent models. A claim only ships when independent checks agree.

Saved history, refresh logic, exports. Wealth Recon keeps a tenant-safe history of every dossier you have run, refreshes them silently when the underlying world changes, and exports clean Portable Document Format and Comma-Separated Values for compliance. A general chat conversation lives and dies in its own tab.

Per-claim audit trail. When you correct a fact in a Wealth Recon dossier, your edit carries your name, your timestamp, and informs future dossiers on the same person across your firm. A general chat tool forgets your correction the moment the conversation ends.

Cost controls and credits. Wealth Recon enforces credit limits per dossier, per month, and per overage cap. A general chat tool happily burns tokens against the wrong person.

If you only ever pull one prospect, a general chat tool is fine. Use it. We will recommend it. If you pull a prospect every week, or a prospect every day, the structure starts to matter more than the prompt. That is what Wealth Recon sells.

A public starter prompt is on our research-prompt page if you want to see how far a general model will take you. We think of that prompt as a useful sixty to eighty percent solution. The remaining twenty to forty percent is the work this product does for you.

How it works in three steps

1. Submit a name and a place of work. The disambiguation pre-pass resolves your input to a single living adult before any credit is consumed. If we cannot identify a single person, you keep your credit and we tell you exactly what would help us narrow down.

2. Wait fifteen minutes. Five artificial-intelligence agents run in coordinated sequence: research, drafting, citation verification, adversarial review, visual quality assurance. The dossier ships when every claim carries a verified source.

3. Walk in knowing. Open the dossier in your browser, download the styled Portable Document Format, or export the compliance-ready Comma-Separated Values file. Edit any fact inline; your edits save continuously and improve future dossiers.

Built for licensed advisors

Wealth Recon is gated by FINRA BrokerCheck plus the Securities and Exchange Commission Investment Adviser Public Disclosure database. Every account holder is a current FINRA-registered or Securities and Exchange Commission-registered financial advisor, plus a small set of advisors-in-transition Bryce reviews manually.

Public sources only

We do not buy data from breach markets. We do not pay third parties operating outside the law. Every source we ingest is reachable on the public web through Securities and Exchange Commission filings, court records, real estate records, regulatory disclosures, news, and similar lawful surfaces.

Advisor-only access

Dossiers stay inside the requesting advisor's firm. Cross-tenant invisibility is enforced at the database level. No advisor learns that another advisor pulled the same prospect, including same-firm. The cache reuse is disclosed in the Terms of Service.

Strict-state privacy floor

Wealth Recon honors the strictest United States state privacy obligations regardless of subject location, governed by California, Colorado, Virginia, and Connecticut. Subjects who file an access, deletion, correction, or do-not-process request through wealthrecon.com/privacy get a response inside the tightest available statutory window.
